UK Padel Championships in Bristol 2026

This year in February, I attended the UK Padel Championships in Bristol to photograph the Oxford Brookes Men and Women’s Padel team. The tournament lasted 2 days (7th February 2026 - 8th February 2026).

There were 67 teams from 23 universities across Women’s, Men’s and Mixed events. The weekend was all about competition, connections and the future of UK padel.

My aim was to capture the Oxford Brookes’s Padel team in all three categories highlighting action, teamwork and sportsmanship along with detailed photos of padel balls and close ups of facial expressions and body language.

Photographing in an indoor padel building has its challenges such as little to no light making the photographs especially dark. However, I can use this to my advantage to make photographs look stylised and creative in a action packed atmosphere.
