Recently Amelia has photographed for Empower Padel for their final tournament of 2025. This was held on the 30th November. The all round theme of this tournament was to capture 40 women playing Padel. These are some of the selected favourites Amelia thinks are the best. However she is aware these aren’t the best photos as they are a little grainy and that’s because of the ISO. To a normal person a Padel Hub may look nicely lit - but to a photographer’s eye it’s an incredibly dark space to photograph. Hence why the ISO has to be whacked up to the highest which also brings down the shutter speed.

But overall, Amelia is pleased with the images in such harsh lighting conditions. The main reason why Amelia loves photographing Padel events is because of the amazing, kind, lovely ladies Amelia mets on and off the Padel courts. As well as photographing the sponsors who supply prizes as this creates a new branch for her to dive into when creating contacts.
