Padel Portraits:

Last year in October (2024) Amelia did a project in a photography studio where she photographed 6 members of the Oxford Brookes University Padel Team. The overall project was to experiment with a studio space and to understand the different lighting that can be used to create a studio portrait.

Amelia got in touch with the President of the Oxford Brookes Padel Team on Instagram. This was Amelia’s first time photographing in this environment - especially with people she’d never met before. It was daunting and scary but to relax the environment Amelia bought her speaker to the shoot. So the sitters could connect to the speaker and play their music to relax before being photographed.
